Ass Savers AB becomes Paraply AB
First things first:
- This is only a change of company name.
- The Ass Savers brand remains exactly the same.
- Our organizational number, bank accounts, and invoicing details all stay the same.
- Our products, team, and way of doing business remain unchanged.
The only thing you need to update is the company name for bank transfers and invoices, from Ass Savers AB to Paraply AB.
Why the change?
The Ass Savers name has served us well — it’s bold, memorable, and a little cheeky, just like our products. But as we’ve grown, we’ve run into some practical challenges. Words like “ass” tend to trigger spam filters, limit advertising opportunities, and cause the occasional hiccup in digital communication.
At the same time, our company has evolved beyond its original starting point. We’re still committed to Ass Savers as a brand, but we’re also building space for new ideas and future projects. We wanted a company name that reflects this broader vision — a kind of umbrella for everything we’re working on today and everything still to come. That’s exactly what Paraply means in Swedish: “umbrella.”
What does this mean for you?
- You’ll still see the Ass Savers brand out in the world.
- You’ll still get the same service, products, and people you’re used to.
- The only administrative detail is updating the company name in your systems.
Our new look
With the shift to Paraply AB, we’ve also created a set of new logotype variants. Unlike the Ass Savers brand, which is highly visible to cyclists around the world, Paraply is mainly a B2B identity. You’ll mostly see these logos in places like:
- Invoices and contracts
- B2B packaging and shipping materials
- Distributor and supplier communication
The goal was to design a clear and professional identity that works well across these touchpoints, while still keeping the playful, functional spirit that defines our company character.
About our emails
We’re also moving our email addresses to @paraply.cc. Don’t worry, our @ass-savers.com addresses will keep working for the foreseeable future, so you can reach us on both.
