Weight: 25.5 g
Material: 0.8 mm PP (Polypropylene)

Front rail attachment
Since 2014 all Ass Savers attach to the front saddle rails only, ahead of the seat post attachment. The advantage with this solution is that saddles are more uniform in this area and we can therefore provide a proper fit to a much wider range of saddles. Attaching only to the front rails makes the Ass Saver self centering. If you accidentally kick it without noticing, it will strive to regain it's centered position. This is one of the key innovations in saddle mudguard technology and is therefore protected under a pending patent No. SE PRV 1750201-4

FLIP-TIP™
Using origami principles, the patent pending FLIP-TIP™ technology allows you to securely fasten the Ass Saver to the saddle with a simple flip of the tip, just like a cycling cap. To unlock, just flip the tip back down and pull backwards. Carbon rails The FLIP-TIP® technology is fully compatible with all types of carbon saddle rails.

Saddle bag compability
The new Ass Saver is a lot easier to install with a saddle bag than previous models. While we can't guarantee a perfect fit with all saddle bags, great improvements have been made with considerably less interference as a result.

Pre-folding
The secret to transforming a flat piece of plastic into a functioning product lies in the pre-folding prior to use. All the scoring lines have been carefully engineered to achieve locking mechanisms, self centering abilities, spring loading and material endurance. Please take the time to properly read the instructions/see the instruction video to ensure the best performance.

Unsaved

Hello Team,
I was pleased to receive a new weather guard product idea to direct water spray away from sprayinging onto my holdall bag trouser / back , initially i purchased the narrower bladed item which did do it's job of directing water spray away from my bag but after the third or fourth outing i discovered when arriving at work my bag and trousers were wet, i checked to see if the blade was aligned to the tyre and on examination could see that it was in perfect alignment, so with this in mind thought that the blade was not wide enough to capture all the offending spray so purchased the next wider bladed guard, on receiving it and installing the blade i tried this one out in wet weather but unfortunately the same experience was repeated and did not keep my bag from remaining dry .

The idea of it was a good one but unfortunately it did not work for me.

Not completely convinced

I'm not entirely convinced it actually stops all that much mud. But its light weight and easy to use.

Not saving my Ass

I can see that this simple insert might work well on most bikes but mine flipped out on my very first ride and I didn't even notice so it's gone! (lucky it didn't catch in my wheel) I have a Specialized Evo Pro (sm) so a pretty new bike and it did not stay connected.

Hi Nessa,
I'm sorry to hear that you lost your Ass Saver. Please reach out to support@ass-savers.com so we can help you figure out why it came off and send you a replacement.
Cheers
Staffan
