I bought this on a whim because I liked the design and I was ordering a mudguard, but I absolutely love it. The material is very thin and lightweight. Fits under the helmet well and better than another cycling hat I purchased. The visor/brim is the perfect size to keep sun and rain and sweat off my eyes, but can easily pop up and out of the way when I don't need it. I wear it far more often than I expected, and I love the design.
